Cecil Harlee Joyner, 95, of Goldsboro, N.C., went to be with his Lord and Savior December 13, 2012. Cecil was born on October 10, 1917 to the late Benjamin J. Joyner and Hazel Fish of Wake County. He was a World War II Army Veteran and a long time farmer after his military career. Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Benton and Horace Joyner. Cecil is survived by his wife, Willie Gray Joyner; daughter, Deborah Jane McLendon and husband Michael Eugene; grandchildren, Sydnie Bill and husband David, and Chris McLendon and wife Geri; and great grandchildren Kaylee Dee Bill and Willow Currington. A visitation was held Saturday, December 15, 2012 at 1 p.m. at Williford Funeral Home with a graveside service following at 2 p.m. at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Fuquay-Varina.
