Louise Shelton Adcock, 86, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, November 4, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at the Fuquay-Varina Presbyterian Church. Interment will follow at Wake Chapel Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Adcock was born in Fuquay-Varina and lived her entire life in this community. She leaves her family and many devoted long-time close friends who will sorely miss her presence and her kind and loving ways.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lola Honeycutt and Walter Mitchell Shelton; her husband, John T. Adcock; her sister, Lola S. Reinckens and her brothers, Walter M. Shelton and Harry W. Shelton.

Surviving Mrs. Adcock is her loving son, John T. Adcock, Jr. and several dear nieces and nephews, a sister-in-law, Marjorie Shelton also survives.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contribution be made to the charities or organizations of one’s choice.

The family also wishes to extend their appreciation to the staff of Windsor Point, CenterPeace Home Healthcare and Hospice of Wake County for their devoted care.
