Mr. Charles L. Burleson, 69, of Lillington died Monday, October 22, 2012 at his home. A native of Mississippi, he was the son of the late Herbert “Bert” and Katherine Moody Burleson. Charles worked with Nortell Electronics as an engineer for 17 years prior to his retirement in 1995.

A funeral service was conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday, October 26 at O’Quinn-Peebles Chapel with Rev. Herbert Burleson officiating. Burial was in Westview Memorial Gardens. The family received friends from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Burleson is survived by his wife, Georgia McFall Burleson; daughters, Joyce B. Reynolds and husband Todd of Lillington and Amy B. Thompson and husband Bobby of Fuquay-Varina; brother, Herbert Burleson of Mississippi; and four grandchildren, Jordan Reynolds, Justin Reynolds, Joshua Reynolds and Corbin Thompson.
