Jesse George “Shorty” Bradley, 101, died Monday, June 18, 2012.

Funeral service will be held Friday, June 22, at 3 p.m., at Trinity Baptist Church with Dr. Philip Deitz and Rev. Lee Specht officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.

Shorty was preceded in death by his wife Annie Belle Price Bradley and a daughter, Edith Bradley Perry. He retired from the Town of Tarboro.

He is survived by a loving family including daughters, Mary Ruth Little of Fuquay-Varina and Janet Turner and husband Lennis of Tarboro; nine grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at Carlisle Funeral Home Thursday from 7-9 p.m. and other times at 503 Hall St., Tarboro.
