The Bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Boone, Jr. the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Boone, Sr. and the late Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Honeycutt. The Groom is the son of Ms. Beth Conner and Dr. Chris Conner, the Grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Dallas Brown of Raleigh, NC, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Harold Conner of North Augusta, SC.
Given in marriage by her father, the Bride wore an ivory silk taffeta strapless gown. The bodice of the gown featured a sweetheart neckline accented with asymmetrical pleating and covered buttons to the natural waistline. The ruched a-line skirt was decorated with a side front pick-up which flowed into a chapel length train. She carried a beautiful bouquet of white roses, spider mums, calla lilies and hydrangeas tied with ivory satin ribbon.
The Groom wore a black tuxedo with matching ivory vest and bowtie and a boutonniere that matched the Bride’s bouquet.
The matron of honor was Mrs. Jennifer Powell, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Miss Leslie Fish of Southern Pines, Miss Jane Honeycutt, of Fuquay Varina, Mrs. Courtney Justin, of Hubert, NC, all cousins of the Bride, Mrs. Amanda Cline, and Mrs. April Ellis, of Fuquay Varina, and Miss Carrie Stephenson, of Wilmington, NC, friends of the Bride. The bridesmaids wore a cocktail length shamrock green matte satin strapless dress. The pleated bodice featured a matte satin band highlighting the empire bodice.
Mr. Jay Honeycutt served as best man. Groomsmen were Mr. Cameron Conner and Mr. Kendall Conner, brothers of the Groom, Mr. Kevin Hothem and Mr. Michael Hall, of Cary, Mr. Nate Silvers of Boone, NC, friends of the Groom, Mr. Blake Powell, brother-in-law of the Bride, and Mr. Jonathan Boone, Brother of the Bride, of Fuquay Varina.
Miss Caroline Boone and Miss Mary Katherine Boone, cousins of the Bride, were flower girls. They were dressed in beautiful ivory dresses and carried baskets of rose petals. Mr. Daniel Boone, Jr. and Mr. Will Boone, also cousins of the Bride, were the ring bearers.
Vocalists for the occasion were Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Jernigan of Wilson, NC and Miss Lydia Kinton of Raleigh. Mrs. Carol Cone of Concord, NC, aunt of the Groom, was the organist. Miss Meredith McCoy and Miss Molly McCoy of Macon, Georgia, cousins of the Groom were program attendants, and Miss Alyssa Vasquez of Fuquay Varina attended the guest register. Mrs. Betty Dickens, Mrs. Renee Lewis and Mrs. Joanie Howerton directed the wedding.
A reception was given by the Bride’s parents at Bentwinds Golf and Country Club in honor of the newlyweds.
Holly is employed with Fast Lane Consulting and Education Services, Inc. of Morrisville, NC and Jazzercise of Fuquay Varina. Clark is employed with Carolina Mobility and Seating, Inc. of Apex, NC.
The couple enjoyed a honeymoon trip to the Sandals Resort, Nassau, Bahamas and will make their home in Fuquay Varina.
Prenuptial events held to honor the couple included a bridal shower at the home of the bride’s aunt, Mrs. Ruth Boone, given by Ruth, Mrs. Mary Boone, Mrs. Robin Boone and Mrs. Jean White.
A bridal shower was given at the home of Mrs. Joanie Howerton, hosted by Joanie, Mrs. Sharon Floyd and Mrs. Beth Long. The couple attended a Backyard Luau at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Honeycutt given by Ben and Amy, Terry and Glenda Gibson and Curtis and Barbara Gunter. A couple’s shower was hosted by Mr. and Mrs. Doug Cline at their home.
Holly’s aunts, Mrs. Janet Honeycutt and Mrs. Sylvia Stroupe hosted a Bridesmaids’ Luncheon at the Mineral Springs Inn in Fuquay Varina. A delicious meal was enjoyed by all.
Ms. Beth Conner and family hosted a dinner after the wedding rehearsal at the Currin Complex in Fuquay Varina.
Everyone enjoyed lots of good food and great fellowship.
