Naomi Riley, who has been executive director of the FVRA since April, brings enthusiam and a hometown touch to all of the activities and events planned in the coming months.
She works hard to support the businesses in Downtown Fuquay-Varina. said, “We have some good things heading your way and our hope is it will bring added revenue to your business! I know many of you are still feeling the pains of the economy. Please know that I think of your pains each day. I took this job because I care about Downtown and our Downtown Businesses. It is by far the most rewarding job I have ever had. I see down the road... I see a great future. I see all the people who are willing to volunteer and I see sponsors investing.... I’m determined to stay the course and help bring foot traffic to you and make Downtown a place where generations to come will want to keep it alive.”
The Taste of Fuquay-Varina is just one of the events planned. This year new attractions have been added, including a mascot theme.
Stormy of the Carolina Hurricanes will be in Varina for the Taste of FV. He will arrive in the Storm Chaser and is sure to draw a crowd.
