She said, “known as the Red Elephant School of Yoga (RESY) which is separate from Red Elephant Yoga, we have been approved by this national body to teach individuals to become yoga teachers at the 500-hour level or to deepen their practice.”
There are two levels of teacher training - the 200 hour level and the 500 hour level. Upon completion, our two-year program actually provides the teacher in training with 850 hours.
“This program is the same program that my yoga teacher, Esther Myers, taught me and others who attended her teacher training program here in North Carolina. I am very honored that the co-creators of this program, Julie Rosier and Tammy Finch, approved my teaching and promotion of it as the Esther Myers Teacher Training Program of North Carolina,” she said. The first teacher training program participants are about to complete their first year. They are scheduled to graduate September 2011. The next class will begin shortly after that.
