Fuquay-Varina citizens will have the opportunity to provide feedback to the Town’s Public Works Committee regarding future expansions and improvements on sidewalks in Fuquay-Varina. The public meeting to hear comments will be held on Tuesday, July 13 at the Fuquay-Varina Town Hall at 6:30 pm.
The community meeting is the perfect opportunity for citizens to voice their opinion on where sidewalks are most needed in Fuquay-Varina. Of the approximately $500,000 the Town of Fuquay-Varina expects to spend, $250,000 will be taken from Powell Bill funds and another $250,000 from the town’s general fund balance. The town expects to carry out some major sidewalk projects as well as smaller one within the 2010-2011 fiscal year.
