Matthew Knight of Garner earned the rank of Eagle Scout, Boy Scouts’ highest rank, on March 10. That accomplishment was celebrated on June 12 with a ceremony attended by Mayor Ronnie Williams, friends and family. For his Eagle project, Matthew put up a chain link fence around his church playground. Matthew is a member of Boy Scout troop 397 of Garner. His proud parents are Randy and Debbie Knight of Garner.
