Holly Springs Food Cupboard has incorporated as a NC non-profit and has signed an umbrella agreement with Apex’s Western Wake Crisis Ministry to provide food and resources for those in need in Holly Springs. It is the hope of the volunteers organizing this service that all of Holly Springs will join in the effort to take care of our own.

A kick-off food drive is planned for Saturday, July 10th from 8am to noon at the Farmer’s Market in downtown Holly Springs. You may bring non-perishable food to the HS Food Cupboard booth that morning and volunteers will collect, organize and distribute them in September along with supplemental resources from Western Wake Crisis Ministry.

Interested organizations are encouraged to have their own collection and either deliver the items on July 10th to the HS Food Cupboard booth or arrange for them to be picked up from your organization’s site.

Donations in the form of checks made out to Western Wake Crisis Ministry with Holly Springs Food Cupboard on the memo line may be sent to Holly Springs Food Cupboard, PO Box 268, Holly Springs, NC, 27540.

For information visit www.hsfoodcupboard.org or contact Pat Haggard 662-0892 or Carol Moran 557-7503.
