Arrests

William Joseph Furman, 31, of Fuquay-Varina was arrested May 2 on a failure to appear charge.

Bobby Lee Huff, 44, of Sanford was arrested May 2 on a larceny charge.

An arrest was made in a May 3 incident allegedly involving shoplifting at Kohls off Lakestone Commons.

Morris Edward Dewar, 60, of Fuquay-Varina was arrested May 3 on possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to appear charges.

Jeremy Alexander Kolb, 20, of Fuquay-Varina was arrested May 4 on misdemeanor possession of marijuana, driving while impaired and provisional driving while impaired charges.

Lacey Michelle Beasley, 24, of Apex was arrested May 4 on a driving while impaired charge.

Christopher Michael Hahn, 18, of Fuquay-Varina was arrested May 8 on a failure to appear charge.

Christopher Utaris Mangum, 28, of Willow Springs was arrested May 8 on a failure to appear charge.

Theft

Shoplifting by concealment was reported May 2 at Wal-Mart off East Broad St. when $382 in video games, a cooler and a pocket knife were stolen. The case was closed; leads were exhausted.

Larceny of a donation box containing currency was reported May 2 at Sheetz off North Main St. The case was closed; leads were exhausted.

Larceny was reported May 3 at Wal-Mart off East Broad St. when a video game accessory, navigation unit and keys were stolen. The case is under further investigation.

Burglary by forcible entry and larceny were reported May 3 off Senterview Dr. when a window was broken and computer software, camera equipment, electronics and cash were stolen. The case is under further investigation.

Failure to return a rental car was reported May 3 at Enterprise Leasing off North Main St. The case is inactive.

Credit card fraud was reported May 4 at Wal-Mart off East Broad St. The case is under further investigation.

Losing or having items removed from an unsecured vehicle was reported in a parking area off North Main St. May 5. Numerous identification cards were stolen. The case was closed; leads were exhausted.

Larceny of a bicycle was reported off Sunset Dr. May 5. The case was closed; leads were exhausted.

Larceny and breaking and entering were reported May 5 off Pine St. Stolen items included a pistol, revolver, mp3 player and currency. The case is under further investigation.

Breaking and entering into a motor vehicle was reported May 6 off Red Oak Tree when a laptop and book bag were taken from a vehicle. The case is under further investigation.

Larceny of a motor vehicle was reported May 6 off East Maple Ln. The case is inactive.

Breaking and entering into a motor vehicle was reported May 8 off Ashdale. Items stolen included a wallet and Bluetooth headset. The case was closed; leads were exhausted.

Larceny and breaking and entering into a motor vehicle were reported May 8 off Nakina Dr. A laptop was stolen. The case is under further investigation.
