The Chamber is hosting its 28th Annual golf tournament at Riverwood Golf and Athletic Club on Thursday, May 20. This is one of the most fun events we have, and we want you to take the plunge and be a part of it.

What are you waiting for? If you play golf, you can sign up as an individual or as a team. We feed you lunch, tempt you with free Cold Stone ice cream, wet your whistle with free beverages from Harris Wholesale and finish up with dinner sponsored by Logan’s Roadhouse. Now, how can you turn that down?

Oh, you don’t golf? Come out to the dinner after the tournament is over and celebrate with the winners. The dinner is free!! Or better yet, come volunteer during the day with us.

What you’ll miss out on if you don’t come is a fantastic day of fun and friendly competition. But, don’t be fooled… A lot of business gets done on the course. You’ll be missing an opportunity there too. This is a great way to treat a potential client to a round of golf and good conversation. It’s a great way to meet someone new, pass a business card and follow up the following week.

Can’t come, but still want folks to know that you have a strong presence in the Garner business market? We still have a few sponsorships available. For as little as $150 you can sponsor a tee sign, or for $200 you can have your name on a golf flag on one of the holes…and yes, you get to keep the flag at the end of the day. Riverwood is a fantastic, 27-hole course and the Chamber is thrilled to announce that the course can accommodate all of our teams for an afternoon-only tournament! This feature is a tremendous asset for the Chamber because it will allow our participants to enjoy competing with one another all at the same time.
