The new facility is number 13 for the company and will employ between 55 and 65 full and part-time personnel. Licensed by the State of North Carolina for both private and Medicaid residents, the company was founded in 1996 by Karen Moriarty, and has grown to become one of the largest providers for assisted living services in the state.
Carillon also offers an advanced program specializing in the care of individuals with Alzheimer’s disease. The Garden Place program incorporates the latest techniques known to be successful in the care of people with Alzheimer’s. Foreman emphasized Carillon’s mission is to provide quality care to seniors while seeking to enrich they’re their physical, social and emotional well being. Examples of Carillon’s 24-hour comprehensive care and services include: Assistance with activities of daily living such as eating, dressing, bathing, walking and taking medication, home health and therapy services available on site through a network of providers, daily exercise classes and walking programs to encourage mobility, present muscle loss, and combat osteoporosis, walking path and gardens for outdoor enjoyment and cardiovascular exercise, massage and whirlpool spa therapy for soothing rest, relaxation and pain relief, and respite and rehabilitation care as well as short-term stays.
