Local entrepreneurs will unite at the Garner Business and Consumer Expo Apr. 8 at the Garner United Methodist Church from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The nearly 100 vendors will be available to show you why Garner is such a great place to be in business.

The event showcases quality products and services offered by local businesses, civic and faith organizations and the Town of Garner.

Last year, more than 1,300 people attended the event. Chamber of Commerce President Neal Padgett said he hopes to have even more people visit the expo this year.

The wide variety of vendors last year, like The Perfect Pair, the Rand-Bryan House, WingSwept and Rush Hour Karting, had something for the whole family. Exhibitors left with many success stories of opened accounts and scheduled appointments.

Mayor Ronnie Williams told the more than 90 vendors at the 2009 event that it was the perfect time for unusual methods of business like the expo.

The Garner United Methodist Church is located at 201 Methodist Drive off Vandora Springs Road.

If you are interested in being an exhibitor at the expo, call Amy White at 772-6440 or email amy@garnerchamber.com.
