Piney Grove Chapel Baptist Church will host their annual Spring Ladies Dessert Day on Saturday, April 10. The event, sponsored by the women’s ministry of the church, will feature an afternoon of fun and fellowship, as well as delicious homemade desserts. Multi-talented Southern Gospel Music female vocalist, Charlotte Ritchie will be the featured guest speaker for the event, which is scheduled to begin at 2:00pm.

Ritchie has enjoyed a successful Gospel music career, having traveled with The Nelons and Jeff & Sheri Easter. In March, 2008, she left the Easters, whom she and her husband Greg traveled with for more than a decade, to embark upon a solo career. Since that time, she has shared the musical stage with such notable names as the Gaither Vocal Band, David Phelps, Mark Lowry, Russ Taff and Janet Paschal, just to name a few. She has been regularly featured on the highly successful Bill Gaither Video and Concert Series and has performed before thousands in arenas nationwide, as well as in Europe, Australia, Canada and South Africa. During 2010, she will be a part of more than 50 Gaither Homecoming concert events.

During the Piney Grove Chapel Ladies Luncheon, Ritchie will share song from her latest recording, as well as her inspiring personal testimony of God’s goodness and the strength He consistently provides during life’s trials and triumphs.

The Piney Grove Chapel Baptist Church Ladies Dessert Day promises to offer encouragement and inspiration to all ladies who attend. Ladies from the community are invited to be a part of this special day. A $3.00 donation is requested for those attending the event, and reservations are required.
