Chris Danielle Wade and John Vincent Gallant III took their wedding vows on March 20, 2010. Chris is the daughter of Scott and Donna Daniels Wade of Garner. John is the son of Donna Lee Gallant of Sanford and John V. Gallant Jr. of Massachusetts. The ceremony was held at Ocean Isle Beach and was performed by Reverend Lamar Boulware. The bride wore a soft chiffon a-line gown with a sweeping train and a halter neckline featuring a beaded tulle inset.

The matron of honor was Barbara Wade, sister-in-law of the bride. Kyla Obenchain, niece of the bride, was a bridesmaid. Tyler Obenchain, niece of the bride, served as flower girl. The best man was James Gallant, brother of the groom. Dave Parkis, friend of the groom, was a groomsman and Jeremy Gallant, son of the groom, and Riyan Wade, nephew of the bride, were junior groomsmen.

The wedding was followed by a luncheon at The Grapevine Restaurant in Calabash.

The couple will reside in Clayton.
