The Fuquay-Varina Woman’s Club Fashion Show was a success due to the support of the community and local shop owners. Special thanks goes to Windsor Point and their residents for the warm reception they gave to the guests of the Fashion Show held in their auditorium. “My Back Porch” owner Christa Vuncannon provided the high fashion clothes for the models from her high-end consignment shop on Broad Street. Nelsa Cox, owner of The Garden Hut provided the beautiful decorations and live plants for the stage. Ashley’s Art Gallery videotaped the whole event and it can be seen on youtube.com/rickmullen. A big thank you to all of the merchants who contributed to the Gift Baskets, Reese Hair Salon, #1 Nails near Food Lion on Main, Elliotts Pharmacy, Merle Norman Cosmetics, Samantha Jewelry Store, My Back Porch, Regal Gifts, Flowers On Broad and Nil’s Bakery and Cafe. Proceeds will be donated to local charities in Fuquay.
