Several members of the Fuquay Cruisers car club attended a Cruise - In Friday night at Smithfield Chicken and BBG at Carolina Beach. Linwood and Brenda Harrell won Managers Choice Trophy with their 1928 Ford Model A.



On Saturday the group attended the Sun Coast Cruisers Back To The Beach car show held at Fort Fisher Recreation Center overlooking the Cape Fear River. There were over 130 registered vehicles. Trophies were awarded in several categories. Several of the Fuquay Cruisers received trophies. Johnnie and Glindra Sears with their 1953 Ford, Jerry and Linda Stephens with their 1968 Ford Mustang, Vern and Sharon Jones with their 1965 Ford Mustang. Linwood and Brenda Harrell with their 1928 Ford Model A, and Ed and Judy Simmons with their 1957 Chevrolet.



Fuquay Cruisers meet the last Thursday of every month, 7 p.m. at Golden Corral. Al Caviness is current club President.
