Residents encouraged to learn about their silver

On Friday, March 12 at 2:00 p.m., a complimentary program on “Sterling Silver Old and New: How to take care of It.” will be presented by Marc Cutcher a specialist in silver appraisal, Solomon Enterprises, Inc.

The Woman’s Club of Raleigh 2010 Spring Antiques Show & Sale is scheduled for Friday, March 12 through Sunday, March 14 in the Kerr Scott Building at the NC State Fairgrounds, Raleigh. Hours are 10:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. on Friday, 10:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. on Saturday and 11:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is $7 per person and is good for all three days of the Show. Free parking is available at the Fairgrounds.

Antique dealers from Maine to Florida will be showcasing 18th century furniture as well as period furniture, fine and estate jewelry, silver, crystal, glass, fine art work, fine botanical prints, English porcelain, American folk art and other items for sale.

Proceeds from the Antiques Show & Sale will be used to support community services and philanthropic projects of The Woman’s Club of Raleigh.
