Officers were dispatched to a shooting call at 2:01 a.m. today in the parking lot of Cook Out at 1433 North Main Street. When they arrived, they found a male who appeared to have been shot. The male, Adrian Kyree Evans, 18, was transported to Wake Medical Center in Raleigh to be treated for his injuries. His injuries consisted of one shotgun wound to his lower back that appeared to be life threatening.
Some people of interest have been contacted and investigators are working on this case.
No suspect information to be given out at this time.
