The Fuquay-Varina Professional Women’s Leadership Association (PWLA) of the Fuquay-Varina Chamber of Commerce is offering a business scholarship valued at $1000.00 to a graduating female student of Fuquay-Varina High School (FVHS).



The applicant must be a Fuquay-Varina resident with a current GPA of 3.0 or higher that has been accepted to a 4-year accredited institution of higher learning and seeking to obtain a degree in some facet of business. Additional items to be submitted along with the application are her FVHS transcript, including GPA, copy of college acceptance letter, and a 250-300 word essay on why the PWLA scholarship should be awarded to her.



Applications for the PWLA Scholarship with complete details and requirements are now available at FVHS Student Services. Completed applications must be turned in to FVHS Student Services no later than May 7th.
