FUQUAY-VARINA, N.C. (January 25, 2010) — Fidelity Bank named Mary W. Willis president and chief executive officer of the Fuquay-Varina based bank on January 25. Willis, an 18-year veteran of Fidelity Bank has served as the bank’s chief financial officer since 1999 and oversaw the newly formed trust management division of the bank. She will assume the role from Mike Whitley, who was named chairman of the board on the same date.

Mary Willis began her career with Fidelity Bank in 1992. She holds a B.S. in Accounting degree from East Carolina University and is a C.P.A. Married to Todd Willis, they have two children, Madison (7) and Reagan (4).
