Eagle Scout Steve Stacy of Boy Scout Troop 356 of Holly Springs and Steve’s Legionnaire Father Tom Stacy, a member of Fuquay Varina’s Post 116, are pictured at right standing proudly behind Steve’s completed Eagle Scout Project which is a constructed redwood bench and sitting area established near the water front of the Legion Post 116 Johnson Pond. In the background up the hill is the new Post Recreation Room and rental facility on the right and to the left our original Post116 Facility Approximately 112 hours of collective Scout work was invested in the project. Steve attained his Eagle Rank on Dec. 9, 2009. Special thanks to all at Post 116 who supported Steve and Scouting by allowing Steve to do his project at the Post.
