A crowd of marchers, sometimes singing “We Shall Overcome,” moved through downtown Fuquay-Varina Monday morning in celebration of Martin Luther King Day. The march ended at the First United Methodist Church on Main Street where breakfast was served followed by a worship service.
Fuquay-Varina celebrated the life of Dr. Martin Luther King. A march and breakfast was held to honor the life of the great civil rights leader.
