Wake County encourages all people more than 6 months of age to receive an H1N1 vaccination during Blitz Week, January 4-9, 2010. Vaccination clinics will operate Monday through Friday as scheduled below. Locations and times for H1N1 vaccination clinics on Saturday, January 9, 2010, will be announced soon.
“We encourage everyone to take advantage of this opportunity to protect themselves and their families from H1N1 by getting vaccinated next week,” said Wake County Community Health Director Sue Lynn Ledford. “We anticipate another wave of H1N1 and seasonal flu during the winter season and want to vaccinate as many people as possible to reduce their risk of becoming ill.”
