Phi Eta Sigma is the nation’s oldest and largest honor society for first-year college and university students in all disciplines. UNCW’s Chapter of Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society recently initiated its 2009 honorees. Less than 3% of UNCW’s freshman attained the necessary grades to qualify for this honor. Of the 73 students that were initiated, 4 of them are graduates of Fuquay-Varina Senior High School.

The four students pictured are, from left to right: Hunter Ingoe, Ashley Howard, Elizabeth Brooks and Caleb Lewis.
