Wake County Sheriff's deputies arrested Jason Young today, and charged him with the three-year-old murder of his wife.

At the time of her murder, Michelle Young, his wife, was five months pregnant with the couple's child. Michelle Young was found beaten to death in her home on November 3, 2006. The couples two-year-old child was in the home at the time of the murder. She was not harmed.

Wake County Sheriff Public Information Officer Phyllis Stephens said that Jason Young was charged with first degree muder and was arrested without incident.

"Today, the Grand Jury returned a True Bill of Indictment in the homicide of Michelle Young. An Order for Arrest was issued for Jason Young charging him with First Degree Murder," Stephens said.

"The Wake County Sheriff's Office and the State Bureau of Investigation arrested him today around 1:30 p.m. in Brevard, North Carolina. He was arrested without incident and is being transported to Wake County."
