Make the three museums of Fuquay-Varina a part of your Christmas entertainment. December 12th, between noon and 4:00 p.m., you, your grandchildren, your friends neighbors and all those you wish to entertain can enjoy a tour.

Few small towns have a better example of their past set out for viewing.

Group tours can be arranged by calling Shirley Simmons (552-5562)

There is not charge, just plan to enjoy the afternoon. Whether you grew up in the area or have just moved here, you will find things you did not know!

Squire Ballentine's School has multiple interesting pictures and artifacts.

The Fuquay Springs Post Office details area postal history from the past to the present. The Centennial Museum has it all, beginning with a video history of the town.

The complex is located at 131 South Fuquay Avenue, just one block off Main Street. A full tour will take about two hours time. Docents are on duty to assist visitors.

Interested persons may join the "Friends of the Museums" and lend support to enlargement and expansion.
