Fuquay-Varina - Hazel Tilley Adams, cherished wife of the late James D. Adams and beloved mother of four, returned to the arms of her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, November 17, 2009. Left to grieve her loss and celebrate her life are daughters, Tilley and husband Reese Bailey,

Anna and husband Emmett Aldredge, Barbara and husband Erik Hecht; son, Jim and wife Kathy; four grandchildren, three great grandchildren; sister, Barbara Ann Tilley and brother, A. Roy Tilley.

Our mother was a woman of abiding faith, with strength of conviction, intelligence and dignity. She had a great love for reading, her home and her family. She was a faithful and supportive wife of 62 years. Her dedication to our father, to her parents and siblings and her unconditional, unwavering love taught us the importance of loyalty to and respect for those we cherish.

Mother lived her life with strong trust in Jesus and devotion to her church family. She shared by example the strength and comfort of prayer, thanksgiving and His Word. We were truly blessed to have her in our lives. We, her family, invite you to share a celebration of her life on Friday, November 20th at 2:00 p.m. at the Fuquay-Varina Presbyterian Church. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
