Our Fuquay-Varina Arts Council is building a Board and needs people who have an interest in helping to shape the growth of Art in our area.
If you have an interest in; a position on our Board of Directors, to participate in an event planning committee or just learn more about what we are planning, please attend this meeting.
At this meeting, we hope to assign a committee to get our fundraiser “Photos with Santa” planned and going. We scrambled to start this last year and with little exposure and less marketing, we still raised around $1,000. It can be much better and more organized this year.
Additionally, we plan to set a monthly music series with 6 events from January to June. We contemplate 3 indoors and 3 outside. There is much work required to pull this off and then keep the momentum to build a strong and active organization.
All facets of building this into an important organization in our town are wide open and we need your involvement.
