Suspect held released from hospital and held without bond in murder case

Daniel Jerome Montgomery was charged yesterday with First Degree Murder in connection with the October 7, 2009 murder of Jammie Shatel Street.

Montgomery was arrested at the hospital at 3:43 pm on October 13, 2009 and appeared before a Wake County Magistrate at 3:45 pm.

Montgomery is being held without bond at the hospital awaiting his first appearance.

Montgomery will be transferred to a secure facility upon his release from the hospital.
