New Guardians ad Litem Volunteers receive oath

The Guardian ad Litem Program had a swearing-in ceremony on September 18, 2009 for new Harnett County volunteers who serve as court-appointed advocates for abused and/or neglected children. The GAL Volunteer Oath was administered by the Honorable District Judge Charles Bullock. Left to right: Donald Harrop, Jr. Guardian ad Litem Attorney Advocate, Sarah Bowman, Judge Charles Bullock, Elizabeth McKee and her daughter, Isabelle. The Guardian ad Litem Program is always seeking additional volunteers for Harnett County and will be holding a new Volunteer Orientation, Monday, October 12, 2009 at 6 PM at the Harnett County Courthouse.
