Arrests

Tony Curtis Battle, 48, of Fuquay was charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury and discharging a firearm into an occupied dwelling on July 29.

Damien Devon Smith, 29, of Fuquay, was arrested for assault on a female on July 30.

An unnamed suspect was charged with carrying a concealed weapon while in a parking lot area on East Academy Street on July 31.

Frank Junious Primus, 24, of Raleigh, was served with a failure to appear warrant on August 1.

Fernando Valle-Ramirez, 26, of Fayetteville, was charged with driving while impaired on August 1.

Jamie Francisco Harries, 20, of Fuquay, was charged with a contempt of court violation on August 1.

Kurt Lee Walters, 21 of Cary, was charged with a contempt of court violation on August 1.

Sebrina Ann Martin, 36, of Angier, was charged with driving while impaired on August 1.

Jeisson Gustavo Lozano, 22, of Fuquay, was served with a failure to appear warrant on August 2.

Thefts

A known suspect fraudulently cashed four personal checks in the amount of $60 belonging to another person at a convenient store on South Main Street on July 27. The case is under further investigation.

Police are continuing to investigate an attempted forged prescription for a narcotic drug at Wal-Mart Pharmacy on July 28.

On July 29, police were dispatched to a larceny in a parking lot area on Hwy 55. A subject had unhitched a trailer and removed it from the scene. The trailer was valued at $25,000. The case is under further investigation.

Two bikes and some tools were reported stolen from an unsecured garage on Parker Street on July 29. The bikes were valued at $250 each and the tools were $800.

On July 30, management at Family Dollar Store reported a suspect placed approximately 18 air fresheners, at a cost of $63, in their purse and left the store. The case is under further investigation.

Police responded to a breaking and entering at Gingerbread Learning Center on North Main Street on July 31. The suspect gained entry by breaking out a window. The case is under further investigation.

On July 31, a suspect dismantled and stole the inside workings of an air conditioner unit on North West Street. Damages to the unit were estimated at $500.

Residents in a neighborhood along Sunset Drive reported that someone stole two Huffy bikes that were on their front porch on July 31.

Other crimes

A simple assault was reported at Johste Court on July 29 when a suspect grabbed a victim by the arm.

On July 29, police were dispatched to Woodchase Green Drive in reference to suspects throwing chairs and tables into a swimming pool.

Police are continuing to investigate an aggravated assault that occurred on Baytree Street on July 30. Reports say a suspect shot a victim and fled from the scene.
