The Easter Bunny hops into town a week early tomorrow, March 23, bringing 12,000 candy and toy filled eggs to South Park in Fuquay-Varina for the Town’s annual Easter Egg Hunt. Grab a basket or bag and plan to bring the kids for what has become a wonderful Fuquay-Varina tradition. This free event begins at 10 a.m.
Children ages 10 and under are invited to participate. The Fuquay-Varina Easter Egg Hunt features three hunt areas, each for a different age group. Ages 4 and under will be at the picnic shelter; Ages 5 to 7 and ages 8 to 10 will be on the lower baseball fields. Onsite signage will help guide parents to the appropriate area.
The Easter Bunny is eager to pose with kids, so make sure to bring a camera.
South Park is located at the Fuquay-Varina Community Center at 820 South Main St. The annual Easter Egg Hunt is hosted by the Fuquay-Varina Parks and Recreation Department.
