Arrests

Derek William Johnson, 34, of Fuquay-Varina was arrested Jan. 18 on a failure to appear charge.

John Elroy Leslie, 51, of Raleigh was arrested Jan. 19 on failure to appear and driving while a license was revoked charges.

Krishna Deanna Sarer, 47, of Holly Springs was arrested Jan. 19 on a failure to appear charge.

Blake Chad Carrington, 24, of Holly Springs was arrested Jan. 19 on a driving while a license was revoked charge.

Kino Donye Wooten, 22, of Fuquay-Varina was arrested Jan. 19 on a second degree trespassing charge.

Burnette Henry, 21, of Fuquay-Varina was arrested Jan. 22 on a failure to appear charge.

Skyler Demetris Price, 31, of Fuquay-Varina was arrested Jan. 23 on driving while impaired, driving while a license was revoked and reckless driving to endanger charges.

Tenisha Nicole Hinton, 24, of Fuquay-Varina was arrested Jan. 24 on driving while impaired and failure to yield to right of way charges.

Michael Allan Kanaby, 39, of Holly Springs was arrested Jan. 25 on driving while impaired and speeding charges.

Theft

Forgery, uttering and obtaining property by false pretense were reported Jan. 18 off East Broad Street when a counterfeit check was cashed. The case is under further investigation.

Breaking and entering and larceny from a vehicle were reported Jan. 18 off Northwest Street. A purse was stolen. The case is under further investigation.

Shoplifting and obtaining property by false pretense were reported Jan. 21 at Kohl’s off Lakestone Commons Avenue. Jeans were stolen. The case is inactive.

Larceny of cigarettes and breaking and entering were reported Jan. 21 at Hilltop Food Mart off North Main Street. The case is under further investigation.

Larceny of bracelets was reported Jan. 24 off Raleigh Street. The case is under further investigation.

Counterfeit currency and obtaining property by false pretense were reported Jan. 24 off South Main Street. The case is under further investigation.

Other crimes

Simple assault was reported Jan. 18 off Ransom Street. The case was closed; prosecution was declined.

Property damage to a vehicle hood was reported Jan. 19 in a parking area off Varina Station. The case was closed; leads were exhausted.
