The Wake County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a man and/or men who robbed the Circle K, located at 5009 Old Stage Road in Raleigh, and attempted a third robbery last month. Anyone with information concerning these robberies should contact the Sheriff’s Office at 919-856-6800.

The first armed robbery took place on June 22, 2011 According to the Sheriff’s Office, a white male entered the store around 4:05 a.m. The man was described as wearing a light colored toboggan or knit style hat with a black shirt and sunglasses.

The second in the string of armed robberies took place Oct. 24, 2012. A white male entered the store around 5:51 a.m. The man had salt and pepper gray hair, wearing all dark clothing and a dark colored scarf covering the lower portion of his face.

The most recent incident, an attempted armed robbery, occurred on Nov. 20, 2012. An unknown male approached the front entrance door to the store around 4:28 am and pulled on the door in attempt to gain entry. The man was wearing all dark clothing, including a ski mask covering his face.
