Foye Vaughan Banks, 96, passed away Monday, October 29, 2012. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, November 1, 2012 at Thomas Funeral Home Chapel in Fuquay-Varina. Interment followed at Montlawn Memorial Park .
Mrs. Banks was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great great-grandmother and friend who will be missed greatly.
She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Edward Banks; daughter, Becky James and husband, Tommy of Savannah, Ga.; son, Wade Sapp Jr. and wife, Karin of Louisburg, N.C.; two sisters, Janet Sowers of Pineville, N.C., and Fannie Mae Axom of Eden, N.C.; three grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild.
Family received friends Wednesday, October 31, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Thomas Funeral Home, 401 North Ennis St. in Fuquay-Varina.
