I know I have come out on several occasions and told people that I cannot stand Extreme Couponing, a television show on The Learning Channel. I feel the show makes all of us couponers look crazy and is not realistic to the average person. Many of us simply do not have the time or the energy to go to those extremes of coupon shopping. While I hold to that statement, I have to tell you that I have become a fan of one of the couponer's home page.

On one of the first episodes of Extreme Couponing, viewers were introduced to a woman known as the Crazy Coupon Lady. She was the lady who went dumpster diving with her pregnant friend and her small child to get coupons. While I find that totally disgusting, I have to admit the woman has an extremely impressive coupon website.

While doing a little research on coupons the other day, I ran across her website. The website is www.crazycouponlady.com. It is extremely imformative. Not only does the site let you know about coupons and sale cyles, it also lets you know about store specials and how much you should be paying for a product when you add the sale price with your coupons. It saves on gas and time because it provides you with emails and updates about the latest saving strategies. It also provides you with various websites on where you can find mores coupons. I have also become a fan of this site on Facebook and it gives me up-to-date information about coupons.

The site also provides you with the opportunity to ask the Crazy Coupon Lady questions. While I am not a fan of stockpiles (I think it is a form of hoarding), several website fans have picked the Crazy Coupon Lady's brain about how to have the best stockpiles.

I would strongly encourage readers to give this website a peek. I think it provides a lot of great information and could save you a lot of money in the long run.

As someone who regularly uses printable coupons or "Printapon" I think that the show Extreme couponing was not a true reading of how the regular shopper uses coupons. It appears to have been frightening to someone who does not use coupons at all
