Runners of all ages are invited to come out and compete in this event which starts at ClubWorx Fitness Club in Fuquay-Varina, winds around the certified course through nearby subdivisions, and finishes back at ClubWorx.
The timing and results of the race are being handled by BTR Management.
Presenting sponsors for the race are Bob Barker and ClubWorx.
Participants can register on-line at ncraces.com or mail a completed entry form that may be found at numerous local businesses, ClubWorx or at Fuquay-Varina high school. Packet pick-up will be held at ClubWorx on Friday, Apr. 1, from 6 – 8 p.m.
Race-Day registration and packet pick-up will be on-site at the registration tent from 7:15 – 8:15 a.m. The race begins at 8:30 a.m.
Parking for the event will be available at South Bend Inc. east of ClubWorx.
Wheelchairs and strollers will be permitted but in the interest of safety no animals, skates or bicycles are
allowed.
The award ceremony will be held within 30 minutes after the completion of the race. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Overall male and female winners will receive awards. All entries will be eligible for door prizes donated by local businesses.
Registration includes a short sleeve race T-Shirt. Shirts are only guaranteed for early registration. T-Shirts for late registration will be on a first come first serve.
5K ENTRY FEE
The Early Registration entry fee prior to March 20 is $20. The Late Registration entry fee from March 20 – Apr. 2 is $25.
All proceeds from the race will benefit athletic teams at Fuquay-Varina High School. Lace up your running shoes and come out to support the community for a great cause!
