Starnes earns Army ROTC scholarship to VMI
Andrew T. Starnes has received an Army ROTC (Reserve Officers’ Training Corps) scholarship to Virginia Military Institute in Lexington, Va. No tax increase proposed for 12th consecutive year
During the May 6 budget meeting, Fuquay-Varina Town Manager Jon Barlow proposed no increase in taxes for residents in the 2013-14 fiscal year. It’s the 12th year taxes would stay at the same rate of 38.5 cents per $100 valuation.
