Temporary changes in drinking water begin March 1
Each year during the month of March, the Town of Fuquay-Varina temporarily changes the water treatment process by suspending the use of ammonia. This disinfection process is a state-mandated practice to ensure safe drinking water. Customers who use kidney dialysis machines and have fish aquariums should be aware that water may contain chlorine, ammonia or a mixture of the two from March 1 to April 1, 2013. Team Fuquay-Varina kicks off Relay for Life fundraising effort
The South Wake Relay for Life will be held on May 18 and 19 at Holly Grove Middle School. Western Carolina University has announced its graduation and Dean’s List for fall semester 2012.
