Tyson Fernandez signed a letter of intent for a full ride scholarship to play football at Appalachian State. Tyson Fernandez was a two year starter on the defensive and offensive line at Fuquay-Varina High School. He was an all conference player his junior year and was a first team all conference offensive lineman and second team all conference defensive lineman his senior year. He was also selected to the HSOT ALL Area Team his senior year. Tyson is expected to play on the offensive side of the ball for App State. The football staff is very proud of Tyson and wish him the best of luck playing at the collegiate level. We know Tyson will represent FVHS in a positive way as he continues his career at App State.
