The American Legion Auxiliary Unit 116, proudly hosted their first Mother’s Day Tea and Luncheon on May 4.
Guests enjoyed assorted tea with scones, muffins, lemon curd, jams and Devonshire cream. A trio of sandwiches were served followed by desserts.
Linda Hodge wore a Victorian period outfit, complete with accessories and parasol, as she recited lovely poems and tea etiquette of that period.
Guests wore hats and fascinators during lunch, ALA president Vickie Jenkins hopes this will be one of many, and thanks the many Auxiliary volunteers for their service, including Diane Yager, Paola Hines, Libby Murphy, Tamie Beaulieu, Julia Brannon, Linda Hodge, Debbi Brown, Linda Brem, Ann Damico and Linda Pilo.
