The Town of Fuquay-Varina Board of Commissioners has authorized funding for the design of renovations and additions to Fire Station #2 located at 5617 Hilltop Rd. Fuquay-Varina. The Town is seeking Request for Qualifications (RFQ) which will be used to select a qualified architectural/engineering firm to provide the architectural and engineering services required to design and construct an addition to the current facility and the renovation of the existing space with construction starting after July 1, 2013.
Professional services being requested include the creation of a project schedule, estimation of construction cost requirements, schematic designs, all preliminary through construction drawings and specifications preparation, preparation of bidding documents, and construction oversight. This work will serve as the basis for future key decisions about final design, bidding, construction funding, and the timing of construction.
