Arrests

Michael Grant Coombs, 53, of Fuquay-Varina was arrested Feb. 3 on a driving while impaired charge.

An arrest was made in an incident reported Feb. 3 off Wake Chapel Road, allegedly involving possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Kent Masey, 57, of Angier was arrested Feb. 4 on shoplifting concealment and failure to appear charges.

An arrest was made in a Feb. 5 incident reported off Senterview Court, allegedly involving possession of marijuana.

An arrest was made in an alleged larceny reported Feb. 6 at Kohl’s off Lakestone Commons Avenue.

Charles Edward Barbour, 44, of Fuquay-Varina was arrested Feb. 6 on a possession of crack cocaine charge.

An arrest was made in a Feb. 6 incident reported at Trade-Wilco off Broad Street, allegedly involving larceny.

Theft

Possession of stolen property and obtaining property by false pretense were reported Feb. 5 at Pawn King off Dickens Road. The case is under further investigation.

Two incidents involving breaking and entering of motor vehicles and larceny were reported Feb. 7 off Timber Meadow Lake Drive. The case is under further investigation.

Possession of stolen property and obtaining property by false pretense were reported Feb. 7 at S&K General Merchandise off West Academy Street. The case is under further investigation.

A worthless check was reported Feb. 7 off North Main Street. The case is under further investigation.

Larceny was reported Feb. 7 at Shoe Show off East Broad Street. The case was closed; leads were exhausted.

Larceny and property damage were reported Feb. 8 at Home Depot off East Broad Street. The case is under further investigation.
