He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology from North Carolina State University and both a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy and a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The Road Ahead is a love story of two young professionals whose future together is threatened by a former lover. Ben Cooper sees who he ultimately believes is the love of his life, Ashley Young, in a coffee shop in West Palm Beach, Florida. Destined to be together, serendipitously, they meet again a few weeks later.

Initially, Ashley is hesitant to accept Ben’s invitations to spend time together. However, Ben’s persistence, along with an attraction Ashley feels for him, convinces her to accept his proposals and they soon find themselves romantically drawn to each other. As they embark upon a passionate relationship, the reason for Ashley’s initial cautious behavior is soon realized as her former boyfriend, Pete, is determined to reunite with her. Despite being warned by the authorities to cease contacting Ashley, Pete continues his pursuit by resorting to extreme measures to interfere with her desire to begin a new chapter of her life with Ben. This story of newfound love between Ben and Ashley provides the reader with thrilling and suspenseful challenges that must be overcome for them to remain together.
