On July 23 and 24 the Fuquay-Varina Athlietic Association along with the FVAA Bombs Organization hosted 50 Softball Teams from North Carolina and surrounding States in the NC USSSA Bringin’ the Heat Tournament. On a hot and muggy weekend, the FVAA Bombs Tournament brought in a few thousand people to enjoy our community. The girls played some good ball and everyone had a great time in spite of the heat. Tents and water bottles were the theme of the weekend as all three major venues were looking for shade, anywhere they could find it. A big thanks to all who helped out with the Tournament as everyone in attendance complimented the event and looked forward to returning in the fall.

The Dixie Recreational Softball District Tournament will be held on June 30 – July 1, hosted by the FVAA bringing 15 teams for the District Event.
