Fuquay Varina Elementary PTA and The Salvation Army partner together to bring coats to families in need. It is an annual, one day event, to serve the community at Fuquay Varina Elementary School and all the surrounding families in our Southern Wake County area. This event warms up many children and parents too! If you need coats for you family, please come to the event on November 14th. Be sure to bring the following items with you to receive a free coat.

• Parent Photo ID

• Parent Social Security Card, Tax identification card or

Green card

• Proof you are a Wake County Resident

• Social Security Card for every child receiving a coat

(Health Choice or Medicaid Card)

This is not the only distribution date for Coats for the Children, but it is the only date in the Southern Wake County area. The Salvation Army will distribute coats in their Raleigh location in December and January. Please help us help kids. If you cannot provide the necessary identification or have any questions, please call the Salvation Army at 834-6733 (or www.keepthebellringing.org) or contact your child’s Wake County Public Schools Guidance Counselor.
