Willow Spring, NC…Chicken Barbecue will be the bill of fare when White Memorial Presbyterian Church, Willow Spring, hosts its Annual Barbecue Chicken Lunch and Dinner on Friday, October 9, 2009 from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. A portion of the proceeds will be directed to the church’s Community Crisis Fund.

Take out or eat in, it’s your choice. Either way it’s a great decision and excellent meal for $7 a plate,” said Honeycutt adding that the church is energized because this year’s benevolence is for helping those in need in the local community.

Honeycutt emphasized that advance orders can be purchased online at www.wmpcwillowspring.org or by seeing any member of the church or by calling 639-9973 by October 7 and leaving a call back number. “Businesses like to take advantage of this advance order opportunity and can specify the time they want delivery.”

Church members will make deliveries arranged in advance for five (5) or more lunch/dinners, ideal for businesses in Willow Spring, Fuquay-Varina, Angier, Cleveland community, Benson and McGee’s Crossroads. Or you can stop by the church on White Memorial Church Road, between Highway 210 and Mount Pleasant Road, anytime between11 a.m. until 7 p.m. and enjoy the fellowship of other hungry North Carolinians.

“Our cooks have a secret ingredient and our church chicken barbecue is very popular,” teased Honeycutt with a twinkle in his eye.

Lunch or dinner include chicken, potatoes, green beans, roll and a sweet treat for dessert. Visit www.wmpcwillowspring.org and click on the Barbecue icon or call 639-9973.
