Cash Mobs is a new movement aimed at supporting local businesses and rebuilding communities. A Cash Mob is a Flash Mob, but instead of singing, dancing or rioting, Cash Mobbers join together and each spends $20 at a local business.

Fuquay-Varina Downtown has sponsored four highly successful and thoroughly enjoyable Cash Mobs in the downtown shopping districts in Fuquay-Varina. Meet at Fuquay-Varina Downtown office at 108 Raleigh Street at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 23, and then go to a local store to support it, meet each other and have fun. The name of the store to be mobbed will be announced at that time.
